1. The account
This account lets the company named above book EJRent equipment for its drivers. The person accepting these terms confirms they are authorized to bind the company.
2. Each rental has its own agreement
Every rental is governed by the EJRent Rental Agreement, which the assigned driver reviews and signs before pickup. These account terms add to that agreement; if the two conflict, the Rental Agreement controls for that rental.
3. Company responsibility
For every rental booked under this account, the company is responsible, together with the driver, for all charges and obligations under the Rental Agreement, including rental fees, taxes, late returns, cleaning, damage, loss, fines, tolls and towing.
4. Drivers
Only the driver named on a booking may pick up or tow the equipment. Each driver must hold a valid driver's license, carry insurance on the towing vehicle, and be the company's employee or authorized agent. EJRent may refuse a driver whose documents cannot be verified, and checks the driver's ID at pickup.
5. Payment
Rentals are paid in advance through the pay link sent to the billing email. A card used for a rental may also be authorized for the security deposit at pickup, as described in the Rental Agreement.
6. Account access
Anyone who can open the login link sent to an admin's email can book for the company. Tell EJRent right away if an admin leaves or a login email is compromised. EJRent may suspend the account for non-payment or misuse.
